even more Fan Expo
...after the fact! My last piece of fanart for the convention, from the semi-obscure SNES game Secret of Mana. I painted this entirely for myself, because I thought the primary method of travel in the first half of the game (cannon travel) is ridiculous.
Fan Expo was a great time, and I got to meet some really fun people! I can't wait for next year.

Showing myself up part 2
Another case of my 23 year old self facing off against my 17 year old self. This time I'm doing it for (surprise, surprise) that beautiful collective blog, Squids with Lasers. More Little Mermaid, because if I keep this up, I could just about make a book of it.

Squids with twofers
The last two weeks' worth of Squids with Lasers themes: odd couples and fantasy geek week
Froggy went a courtin' he did ride!
For this image, I consulted with my thirteen year old self for what she would most like to draw.

Showing myself up
Illustration for Hans Christian Andersen's the Little Mermaid. Above, the image I painted in 2010, aged 23. Below, the image I painted in 2004, aged 17. Take that, former self!
